In Durban, ROCKA attends the Metro FM Awards
This weekend Rocka attended the 15th annual Metro FM awards in Durban as the goodie bag sponsor. Subsequently, Rocka left a lasting impression as 80 nominees and 20 presenters were a part of the Rocka gift experience.
Metro FM Awards Nominations
We as a brand were extremely chuffed as a number of our ambassadors were nominated for an award this year. Consequently, the Metro FM Awards nominations included the following artists, drum roll, please. Mi Casa received a nomination for Best Duo or Group. Additionally, nominations were made for; AKA for Best Hit Single, Best Remix, and Best Collaboration together with Khuli Chana.
The Awards
Bonang Matheba and DJ Mo Flava, undoubtedly extremely talented hosts presented the awards ceremony without a hitch. Accordingly, a whopping R100 000, was awarded to each category winner, of which there were 22 categories. The Rocka team beamed with pride as our ambassador, Khuli Chana, along with AKA, received an award. Yes, they walked away with the Best Hit Single and Best Collaboration awards.

We at Rocka are super proud to have attended the event and look forward to upcoming events. Having witnessed the recognition of excellence, we can truly say that we are happy with the ambassadors we have chosen. Considering two of which were nominated and one of them won! We love being associated with a talented team and surrounding ourselves with the prospect of success. Being a brand of honour, we can certainly say that we now have national recognition at award-winning standards because of our ambassadors.
